Looking for the beauty

Poldark, Lands End, St Michael's Mount etc

We had another busy day today, trying to squeeze in as many different places in Cornwall as we could. We started by heading out in search of Poldark. The weather was still really windy but also misty and grey and Poldark was nowhere to be seen (can't say I blame him)! The National Trust cafe was unfortunately not open so we headed to St Just for some breakfast. This was another little gem and we found a great cafe that was also a book shop that served a delicious breakfast. Afterwards we drove to Cape Cornwall where the Atlantic Ocean and The Channel meet. While in the area we had to of course visit Lands End and have our photos taken by the famous sign. We didn't stay long as we had a trip around St Michael's Mount booked. I've visited the French one 3 or 4 times but never the English version. I preferred this one and was not disappointed. Although it was very windy, it was beautiful and we timed it perfectly as the sun came out just as we arrived. If you haven't been yet, make time to visit.
On the way back we had a flying visit to Mousehole which was very pretty but tiny. We parked the car on the road out and walked down into the town but couldn't find anywhere to eat so stopped at a supermarket for some food that we ate in our room.
