Another day indoors...

... nursing the head cold, which is now easing off, thankfully.  I hope to be back on Granny duties tomorrow, and back out with the camera as and when weather permits.  Anything to distract from the assorted feelings of dread, terror and 'but maybe it'll be all right after all?" associated with the US elections.

However - the "Christmas" cactus in the bathroom obviously hasn't had the memo about lockdown and is cheerfully preparing for midwinter celebrations.  Being stuck indoors, I decided to play about with an old Nikon manual focus zoom lens.  It has a macro setting, which I like, but it's a fussy beast and not always predictable with its results (at least, not to me).
