Blue moons and planets

This weekend for the Dutch course our assignment was making abstracts with water, oil, ink etc. I can recommend this as a nice way to stay occupied and feel creative (although you do need to be very careful with oil and ink and not rub it all over your camera !). Funnily enough the Blip image today is of the water in my little plastic bowl afterwards, when I was going to clean up. I poured warm water in the tub with some oil residues which also had two drippers with ink and watercolour liquid in it and voila, a whole new universe ! See another result (vinegar with ink in a small pink plastic shot glass) in the extras.

Thanks so much for all last week's Abstract Thursday entries, it's clear we're all needing a break from the horrid news and that wretched virus and the chaos it is creating. This coming Thursday is the first one in November (where does the time go?) and so it's a theme-free Abstract Thursday. The tag will be AT280

Here's the list of last week's specials:
davidc              a  finger print
tedwin              cheerful graphics
JacZero           break in a fig roll
dollydoug        pepsi cans pattern
SeriousFrolic  decorative break

Thanks again to everybody for all the creative entries every week !

And thank you for the kind comments and stars for yesterday's Halloween Blip
