Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

By NannaK

Blue

Trying to think BLUE (for Democrats……and hopefully the winner of the election tuesday.)    It was such a pretty crisp but warm and sunny day for the first of November, we went to walk along the Salish Sea.  the water was so very blue!  And so was the sky (extra:   looking up toward the Sculpture Park..here Calder's "Eagle", newly painted!)
It was much too crowded tho..except right here.

A zoom call with H’s brother and sis and a outdoor chat/tea with friends M and T turned the day into something rather social.  Not used to this.

It’s also el Dia de Los Muertos today, the Mexican custom of celebrating someone who has died,   in a good way…I like this idea, so this year made our alter for our parents…last year we had the family birthday party with the “altar on the table.  None of that kind of social this year.  NO sugar skulls this year either however :-(   ( need Fiona!)
put it in my other journal
