White Stallions

A really wonderful day today - one that will stick in our memories and be good to recall in lockdown.

Sunnier than we expected this morning, we walked from our holiday cottage along the South West coastal path to Porthleven. We looped around the harbour and onto the beach the other side were we sat and watched waves (and dogs playing with balls - you can't beat a dog playing with a ball on a beach), see second extra.

We walked back to the cottage to make some lunch and then took a drive to The Lizard. We walked down towards Lizard Point and the strength of the wind was ridiculous. Taking a bit of refuge in the old lifeboat station we soaked up (not literally) a bit more wave action and that's where the main blip was captured.

Back to the car, we then drove a couple of miles to Kynance Cove to see the last of the daylight today. Such a beautiful place (see first extra).

Back for a fish and chips tea!
