Pig in a poke

After an errand in Inverness the light was so great we came home the pretty way. Views over the Moray Firth are stunning in this weather. Across the other side is Ardersier where they used to build oil rigs in the 1970s. Redundant, it’s all been cleared but if you zoom in carefully, you can see where the dry dock was. No use for normal shipping now because the currents demand constant dredging to get out into the main channel.
