Practising some suturing on fake “skin” (a lot foamier and spongier than the real thing, and a lot less painful!)

Turns out the A&E we’re placed on is a purely covid A&E - all non-covid patients are sent straight to another hospital, and all positive patients come here. Which sadly meant moving out of Grandma’s for the next few weeks...we’ll miss each other, but definitely feels better this way than the risk of bringing it home to her! And it’s a great opportunity to learn from the brave people on the front line!
