So was the radiance

Was listening to the Bible in one year while walking up to hospital this morning, and saw this view, pretty much at the exact moment of hearing this verse!:

“Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him.” (Ezekiel 1:28).

Also enjoyed the timing of listening to yesterday’s reading - while walking to hospital in the downpour of rain, with the colours and beauty of autumn paving the streets - which included this verse...

“...for he has given you the autumn rains,
because he is faithful.” (Joel 2:24)

Heaven is all around us. Father help us to hold onto the hope of your nearness, the hope we so desperately need.
