Q****

It was quite quiet in ED this morning, so I remarked “it’s quite a quiet morning isn’t it” which was followed how gasps of horror and condemning stares at the fact that I had uttered the Q word. Apparently it is common knowledge that such profanity results in the shift quickly becoming very busy. Lots of wood was touched by all the staff because apparently that is protective against such occurrences.
