Dam

Dam is the name of a small body of water which lies just past the village of Kippen in West Stirlingshire. It's not amazing or beautiful but it has some interesting winding gear as blipped. I presume this is for boats as there is private angling here. Anyone thinking the grass looks too green - it's artifical. Honestly! And yes, there is a traffic cone in the water.

In the extra is nearby Loch Laggan (not THE Loch Laggan west of Dalwhinnie). More private fishing on a very attractive looking loch. It wasn't possible to walk at either though. Dam was too muddy and Loch Laggan too private.

It is a lovely autumn day and so, so mild. I'm going back out later on for another walk. I really do believe in the power of fresh air.

The shenanigans in the USA are fascinatingly ghastly. I worry for the aftermath though. The UK is a deeply divided and polarised country but not to the same level yet. People in the know seem pretty certain that it's heading for a Biden presidency which is obviously a great relief. But the task ahead of him is massive.
