FIREWORK NIGHT

The Council have replaced their usual display with six beams of light which are supposed to be visible from all over the town, although I can't see them at all. However, people are having private fireworks parties and I caught this burst by hanging out of my bedroom window. Hartlepool seems just as busy tonight as before the lockdown.

In other news, I had a mammogram this morning and spent the rest of the day occasionally peeking at the news through my fingers, doing odd chores and watching completely unrelated documentaries on TV (bless you, Jim Al-Khalili) and recommending them to Texas sister who's been watching on iPlayer and ignoring the all-pervasive Fox where she's working at the moment.
