Two close friends of mine are moving to a new stage in their life. I think it takes a lot of courage to take THAT next step as my eventual next step will make its way down the road soon; the drowning rapture of anticipation as thick as oil. Although this evening was with many friends and genuine conversations of fun and frivolity, there were those moments we shared of mutual understanding of our own personal challenges. Although it wasn't explained explicitly from each of us, we didn't need the instructions to already know how much we all cared for each other, deep down.
