Errol Old Cemetry

Took Breagha to Sheila for the second of her 2 per year chop. Always looks like Bambi when we pick her up!

As we were passing by Errol we stopped off at the cemetery to look for my Great Grandparents, Mary-Ann and James Cowper’s grave.  We eventually found it With the writing looking rather faded.  I see Alexander their son is mentioned but his body is not in here as it was blown to pieces in the horrors of Passchendaele.  Charles (chick) , according to my mum was ‘a poor soul’ always ill- and Frederick died in infancy sadly.  

Had a visit from Helen Barbara’s daughter to let us know that her mum was getting treated intravenously for a UTI and her breathing issues.  She wasn’t sure if she would get home to live in her own (sadly) but we will see.  I got her a card and put some sweets in it .  It’s a shame NO VISITORS are allowed in the hospital because of Bloody Covid.
