Lone tree

Another sunny day, too good to stay indoors, so MrM and I set out for a walk after lunch. We had intended just to go as far as the Common, but once we were there decided it would be a shame to go straight back, and continued on. Not too far, just up the hill and over to the track down through Humbleton village. It was mild and incredibly clear - once over the brow of the hill we could see the sea (extra), some 12 miles distant!
Good to chat (at a distance, of course) will Paulette for a while, when we passed her and a friend, not far from this spot.

Votes are still being counted in the US elections, and the result still in the air, though the Democrats seem to be edging ahead. The only certainty is that Trump is becoming more unhinged by the minute...
