Curlew

Shelf unit moved from the existing cupboard to the back of the new one first thing. The next job was to assemble a very narrow shelf unit. It's the first time in a while that I've put together a 'flat pack' item, and this one seemed very well designed and was was surprisingly quick and easy to put together. MrM fixed it to the cupboard wall, and it wasn't long before all the shelves were full with 'stuff' that we don't have space for elsewhere. Just about room for my sewing machine and the vacuum cleaner too.

The question is, where can we store all the decorating equipment and pots of paint that were in the existing cupboard and don't fit in to the new one?! Hmmm!

Spent far too long on 'Ancestry' at lunchtime, in yet another unsuccessful attempt to track down my maternal great grandfather. Seem to have hit a 'brick wall'.

It was dark before I even thought about Blip, but happened upon an unfinished guitar that MrM had brought upstairs from the workshop. This is a 'curlew' inlaid on the fingerboard.
