Happy Adoption Day, Louisa May!

Dear Diary,

It was one year ago today my sweet little Lulu May came home to live with me.  She had a shaky start, refusing to eat and hiding under the sofa for 4 days but she settled in and now I just can't imagine my life without her.  She certainly has been a comfort during these strange and troubling year.  We are both hoping that today is the day Joe Biden will finally win the presidency but I fear we are in for troubling times ahead.
