Louie's Salute

I wonder who he was saluting in his dreams?  Our little warrior has now broken the six pound barrier and had his inoculations yesterday.  He was a very sleepy boy when I saw him this afternoon - still sleeping off the injections.  And of course there are still two weeks to his due date.

Apart from the excitement of seeing Louie, we managed a lie in without the workmen coming.  We spent some time working out the logistics of passing the stairlift when it is parked at the top of the stairs and sent the washing down on it.  Dad didn't get up until much later but managed the stair lift very well.

We measured the patio spaces outside and made the decision about where we would like to put a summer house.  Then we checked the external measurements of the summer house we like and decided what size would be best.  Then we put in our order!  12 weeks lead time on that.  Will be approaching spring by the time we get it and some of the bulbs i have planted should be starting to flower.  Our new little summer house is rather more like a little square garden conservatory which we hope will be very low maintenance.  It is going to be grey on the outside so we have decided to paint the fence grey.  That's going to take us quite a long time I think!  We did about 2 panels worth this afternoon before it started to get a bit chilly so will try to do some more tomorrow.  Our new shed arrives early tomorrow morning so we are trying to get the part of the fence near the shed done first. i hope to put a fence painting shot in the extras.

Have a good weekend everyone and stay safe.
