Cramond Island!

We’ve tried a few times to work out the tide times fir a safe crossing to Cramond Island and failed miserably so when my friend Susan and I were walking in the vicinity this morning we took a look at the charts and realised we had enough of a window to make it across and bact before our lunch booking so off we set. The causeway was a little slippy in parts but 15 minutes later we were on the island. It’s apparently an easy walk round and there is a spooky old abandoned house on the other side but we left that adventure for another day!

Home to grapple with iMovie which turns out to be really simple to use so the video was quickly out together - hope Mr PHL isn’t too emotional when he sees it (not very likely).

Great chat with the girls tonight with a quick chorus of happy birthday before I cut the call short just before 11 to wrap the presents.

Phin he noted today as he’s learned a couple of new tricks - he was allowed to sleep on Miss PHL’s bed in the afternoon and can now leap into the kitchen chair - getting down is another matter!

In between everything else I’ve been keeping an eye on the election results across the pond - looking more positive today I think. Keeping fingers crossed blue wins out.
