I haven't been here since about May. In truth Archie can be a bit of a handful here so it is a wee walk for just Caley and myself. Mrs SJR took Archie separately for a low level walk in the early evening. They still had Leanachan in the morning together.
Bohuntin Hill is funny. No matter how familiar you are with the ascent, that gradient -invisible to Caley who bounds up it- always takes the legs by surprise  The "peching" is quickly forgotten by the time you are marching across the summit peat hags to the big cairn. It was lovely watching the sun go down. I know there is a warm looking glow but it felt pretty chilly in the breeze.
