Project with Obstacles

A quiet Sunday, with a bit of gardening and housework. 

I took out a project that I have been working on for over a year, on and off. It’s a colourful, crocheted cotton patchwork blanket/bedspread, and it’s almost finished. I haven’t had much spare time for the last couple of months, so I had packed it away. 
Today I wanted to start again - but it took the cats only minutes to discover the yarn and start playing with it. 

So it might still take some time before I can put this blanket on the bed.
