Lights in the Mist

What a horrible weather day!  It was a day for indoor activities so Tony disappeared to clean out the greenhouse at the allotment and I did some sorting and cleaning in the back bedroom before watching the very quiet Remembrance service on the television: limited attendees all social distancing and no veterans' march past, very strange but still the wonderful music and the tributes.  We do these ceremonies very well.

In the afternoon we took a single bed across to Jen and Pete's.  They are selling their house so being able to demonstrate that a double bed can easily fit in their second bedroom will be a good selling point.

I was struggling for a blip so decided to leave it until darkness fell, but the lights of the village could barely pierce the heavy mist which has hung around all day.

Thank goodness sense has prevailed across the Pond.  One of the first announcements has been that the US will rejoin the Paris Climate Change Accord, and that is good news.
