Noisy Waves

I took this last Wednesday at Watergate Bay on the north coast.  I thought I'd better get there before lockdown - it seems we can have unlimited exercise and drive 'a short distance' in your 'local' area.  Clear as mud!  It takes me 35 minutes to get to this beach which is 18 miles away, yet a much closer beach. Par, is 7 miles away but can take half an hour to get to, just because of busier roads with endless traffic lights.

The photo could be of any waves on any beach anywhere!  Only half the story is in the photo, because you have to add the roar of the waves and the huge amount of space on this really long beach. There was a cool north east wind but it was all very refreshing.

It was sunny all day last Wednesday, and before today there hasn't been any sun since then!  Dreary grey wet cold days!  Today there are 'sunny intervals' with showers.
