Life through the lens...

Let there be light.

This is a view we wouldn’t have been able to see clearly before the tree was felled yesterday.
Another foggy morning which cleared about 10am and we had some brilliant sunshine.
We were zooming with the Bus Pass Walkers at the time, and it made the laptop screen flicker. Took us awhile to realise that is was the sun causing this to happen. Eventually closed the curtain and it stopped.
After a slight blip we managed to have a good meeting with everyone.
It will be nice when we can walk together again.
Certainly fingers crossed for the new vaccine.

Needless to say we finished zooming and the sun went in again. Not to reappear until 4pm when I took this photo.

Did our fortnightly click and collect from Sainsburys in Halifax this afternoon. A day later than usual as Monday’s slots were full.
May be due to the new Covid lockdown.
As usual the staff were helpful, and cheerful as always. A real credit to the company. Makes it a pleasure instead of a chore.

Just received some lovely photos from our granddaughter at Sheffield Uni. She has been walking in the Peak District with one of her housemates. A bit of light relief from all her online studies.
