Revealing

My online poetry group meet this morning (on zoom): one of the poems we were discussing was Prayer by Carol Ann Duffy.

One of the themes (for me at least) was unexpected moments of peace ( "and stare at the minims sung by a tree, a sudden gift") which I often find when out walking, whether that be in the woods or on the moors.

Today it was the turn of the Black Spout Wood which has been "the gift that keeps on giving" during the past few months. I have visited it most weeks, explored its many paths and watched it changed as the leaves came into bud and then surrounded by green-ness and now we a turning full circle as leaves full, revealing the underlying structure of the wood.

Perth & Kinross will be in Level 3 from Friday - this won't make much difference to us individually but will   have a huge impact on the town. However needs must - case are rising.
