Hampton War Memorial

L2 Day 7. Cycled round Twickenham and to the Hampton War Memorial. It was nice to see Church Street in Twickenham decorated with lots of flags and poppies but there were very few people as many shops there are closed at present.
In Oldfield Road, Hampton there are four War Memorial Cottages(like alms houses) which were built in 1922. The War Memorial Garden is in front of them and was refurbished a few years ago and today looked very smart with many wreaths. While I was there , at about 10am, two pupils from Hampton Junior School came to lay their wreath. One of the cottages is in the blip.
