Pentlands

It was actually a nice day today so we decided to go for a walk; as we’re confined to Edinburgh this meant another day in the Pentlands. That is not in itself a bad thing, but it would be nice if the choice was there to go further afield. We parked at Castlelaw Hill Fort, and went up Castlelaw, Allermuir and Capelaw before coming back to the car. It was bright but quite windy, so we never got too warm. We found a nice sheltered spot for lunch and shortly afterwards took the blip looking to Turnhouse, Carnethy and Scald Law.

Best on black.
