Kevin McCloud did have a career before he started the Grand Designs series. His book is devoted to explaining painterly effects and is an excellent reference. It has to do with home decoration.

Just more reference books.

Today’s highlight is the Flu vaccination trip. Actually we have enjoyed receiving great news from many friends.

We heard that we are "great grandparents to be" to our Czech great granddaughter. I think that Petra will complete her Midwifery Course in time.

Another friend has been appointed as a full time Lecturer to one of Glasgow’s University at the age of 58 to impart her practical knowledge gained working in the NHS.
