Miller Ground

A picture of Wynlass Beck that empties into Windermere and used to operate the corn mill near this bridge, long since disappeared but it left its mark in  the name of the area. Now owned by the National Trust its one of the  very few places to get free public access to the lake on the east side of Windemere and much frequented by swimmers and kayakers. Most of the east shore is owned by private houses, hotels and private boathouses.
I'm including Mr P in a lot of shots at the moment because his blue coat brightens up the pictures on a grey day.
