Meet the Candidates

Election for  Constable, Douzeniers and Schools reps on Wednesday so today there was a ‘Meet the Candidate’ event which I went along to. There are twice as many candidates as positions vacant. Great to see parish elections keenly contested.
Yesterday evening I watched part of Gary Lineker's search for details of his grandfathers WW2 experiences. I know my dad was taken prisoner of war in Italy but no idea of when or what he was doing there so I decided to write off for his war records. A bit of searching online revealed his Prisoner of War details including his service number so I have what I need to complete the application form. It will be interesting to see what is revealed...
