Lying where it fell

I really hate days like this when there has been very little daylight. 
A  dreich day but the dampness gave an added sheen to the fallen leaves.

I wasn't here when my gardening boys came but even before I turned into the driveway I could see that me three bags of leaves were no longer lying against the wall. The garden looks so tidy with hardly a leaf  left .... sad thing is that my neighbour's tree still has a fair number of leaves to fall so I expect I will need a return visit in a few weeks.
