Just good friends or ……..

….. are they a couple? I have not yet learned how to distinguish between male and female geese ….. to me they all look the same.

As usual I missed the skein of geese flying into the loch from their grazing on the fields and they were already on the water when I arrived up at the loch. Many were making their way to the grass to spend time preening their feathers.

Compared to yesterday today has been very dismal and dull …..
a day for snuggling up on the settee with a good book and a warm cuppa.
