A peanut or two a day ……..

……. the rest will be hidden away until required.

We haven’t been out to the west end for some time but today it turned out to be a family gathering in one of the many coffee shops. L and I had arranged to meet up with Hazel, niece #2, and after we had finished brother David appeared so we had a second round of coffee and made some tentative plans for Christmas.

David & Hazel headed off in one direction while L and I headed to the Botanic Gardens. It was a beautiful morning for a walk, the sunshine and blue skies returned after their absence yesterday.

I don’t know how many squirrels live in the Botanics but there isn't a skinny, undernourished one to be seen. So many people feed the squirrels that many have become tame enough to take the peanut from your hand. The squirrels are cute but the accompanying flock of pigeons, looking for a free feed, are not.
