About to turn

Big surf at the lighthouse beach

There was a calm silver tide in front of the house this morning, and a wild surf a few miles away at the ocean beach. We drove there and walked our separate ways - sister Kristie dodged waves down on the sand, Mom and Dave clutched umbrellas on the path, and I chased down a shot of a ship that was plowing its way through the breakers from the harbor. It was too foggy to capture, but fun watching it pitch up and down as it made its way out to sea. Back to Bellevue tomorrow!
