Seattle Magic

Drove back to Bellevue from Westport today, a trip that takes 2 1/2 hours with cooperative traffic (unusual) and a short stop for lunch. I rode with my sister, however, and spent the afternoon at her apartment in West Seattle. It's a cool old building with a tower that peeks through to a view of the Seattle skyline (extra). And even cooler, it used to be the home of Jimi Hendrix. The main shot is from the park across from Kristie's building, looking over the water to the city. That's the Space Needle on the left. The other extra is of the tide coming in this morning back at the beach house, which is a rustic world away.

Last day tomorrow before the flight back east.
