The New Walk

Mrs SJR, on an earlier reccy had cocluded we could take this track off west from the "New Walk" to join another recently formed network of forest tracks.
Unfortunately we encountered a tall padlocked gate, a deterrent and possible nuisance to a poacher working in darkness, but no real hurdle to most walkers. However it would have been a bit tricky getting past with the dogs. We turned and followed a familiar route,; short today because we had a few errands and chores to follow.
