Trouble With Tribbles

This morning I found this wonderful colony of fungi on a decaying log - the same one that hosted the Jelly Ear Fungus that I blipped a few days ago. For some reason it made me think of the Star Trek episode ‘The Trouble With Tribbles’

I think this may be called Schizophyllum Commune - but I stand to be corrected!
