My Christmas Cup

When I first saw this cup it triggered something in me that had to do with my childhood and Christmas. It made me smile. Lauralea insisted that I get it.

It still has that effect on me and I’m not clear why. The artwork on the cup remind me a bit of those old childhood cards mom would buy for me to prepare to give to my friends for Christmas.

Or it may be that it reminds me of those old Christmas television specials we would watch. They were usually very simple animated programs but we looked forward to watching them again every year.

Whatever it is, it’s become my hot chocolate cup now and the effect continues. It makes me smile when I use it.

It also says Christmas is coming. :)
