During both lockdowns I have observed the proprietors of non-essential goods stores making the most of their down-time and re-vamping their retail outlets. The wool shop in Rochester has been particularly creative. On my way to work this morning it became quite apparent that having completely re-vamped during Lockdown1, they had discovered their ancestry as a grocery, with perhaps Irish roots, but quite definitely with stone or marble shelves once-upon-a-time.
So now they are using Lockdown2 to showcase their historic credentials.
