All the leaves are brown, and the sky is grey, and Jonty is dreaming of the warm California coast instead of this cold, windy, wet, Gloucester that he lives in. He's never been to California but I told him all about it.
Also makes me think of Santa Monica, the end of the journey from Chicago along Route 66 (what's left of it) and keeping fingers crossed for April!

P.S. Thanks Covid - still waiting to do my birthday present that I got a year ago today! (not my birthday yet though).
