Lockdown

 
As predicted, we go into lockdown on Friday for three weeks.  So central Scotland, along with the west, is now in the highest alert for Covid .

Just heard  a friend of mine is in hospital with Covid even though she had been very careful. But others in her bubble caught it.

Had my flu jab this afternoon. Usually in Bridge of Allan this is a highly social affair where we get to see people we might not have seen for months, and are offered a sit down in a waiting room to recover, a chat with old friends and free sweets. Not so today. 
 
It took place in the local Rugby club, commandeered to act as a temporary medical centre, and everywhere there were masked people and bottles of sanitizers.  Only spotted three people I know but there was no chance to talk. We were whisked through the process at high speed and out of the door.
