Twinned Cities.

This is above the side entrance to Debenham's in the Grafton Centre, Cambridge and depicts the twinning with Heidelberg, Germany, 1957. Town twinning started after the Second World War to build friendships with other countries and many cultural and community exchanges have taken place. Since 1980 an annual Easter Festival alternates between the two cities. Cambridge was also twinned with Szeged Hungary,
