Afternoon in the city

In the ongoing work to manage my health, I’ve been trying to see a liver specialist since, I don’t know, a year or so. Every time the appointment came near, the Dr. had to postpone it. Until today.

Today we went up to the city and to the university hospital. Actually the place where my dad had two liver transplants about twenty years ago we figured. It was, weird.

Anyway, getting in to the Hospital complex was like going through the airport screening process. Lots of hand gel, new masks, special stickers, and many promises about where we’ve been and what we’ve done. But we made it.

This blip was from the walk from the parkade over to the hospital. It was kind of pretty as the snow had just been falling.
