Day 4

Mint sauce fail. Lamb steaks, roast potatoes and veg for dinner. Sauces are really hard as so many are vinegar based which is high in histamine. Attempted to make mint sauce using olive oil and fresh mint leaves but the verdict was not good and it tasted “too leafy”. Further research revealed that apple cider vinegar might be okay so that could be an option for the future. For tonight we made a dressing of ACV, olive oil and honey.

A big success today was eggy bread made with a wrap. Yeast is a probable no-no so we are avoiding ordinary bread. Wrap worked really well.

Breakfast was pancakes and blueberries. If we were being very extreme we might cut out flour for the gluten and milk as dairy may be inflammatory but we know there aren’t any intolerances so trying it for now. Also, joyously found out maple syrup is anti-inflammatory.
