But I do love a good bog, I like the way in this shot you can see the dome of the raised bog, where it runs along the skyline.

Bogs are so important for carbon capture and storage I think you will hear much more about them in the next few years. They are living and growing habitats and so many of ours are in poor condition and abused. My plea to you is to stop using peat compost in the garden it's such a destructive habit.
