Christmas is coming

Yesterday's sunshine is but a bygone memory as we plunge once more into a very dull, dismal day. The morning was just mizzly but this afternoon the rain and gloom returned.

When I was on my way to collect a prescription this morning I spotted a flat bed truck loaded up with one enormous Christmas Tree ready for 'planting' in the middle of a concrete island at the beginning of our shopping area.

Our local funeral directors have sponsored the tree for many years and it looks super when decorated with coloured lights.
I suspect it will be next week before the lighting up.
