Flowering in three stages

We slept pretty well last night, we so needed it!
We were up and downstairs at 10, a big improvement than of late ;-)

Hub fancied a bacon sandwich for breakfast so thats what we had.

Daughter popped round for a quick chat, wanted to check up on her dad I think ;-) She arrived just after it started to rain, she stood outside the lounge window, with her big hood up for half an hour. She arrived armed with some goodies too, flowers for me and some mints and quiz games for Dad, to cheer us up, oh and our Christmas card ;-) As her dad said, she is a good egg :-D

We got the promised phone call with hubs covid test appointment, which was done at 1pm, hopefully a negative result will follow. Our two youngest granddaughters were sent home from school and have had to get tested, too, results to follow for them aswell.

A pretty damp and dismal day weather wise, managed to grab this shot of these little daises that are still flowering in the back garden. You can clearly see them in three stages, a newish bloom, a full bloom and one that is just going over. Thought they made a nice shot for Flower Friday.

We had tuna sandwiches for lunch and Ive roasted a chicken for dinner tonight.....dont think we are up for a full roast though, might just be chicken & chips ;-)

Hope you are all safe and looking forward to your weekend.
