Beneath Biscay

So I received some money as a late birthday present and I got a bit carried away with old manual-era Pentax prime lenses, initially with astrophotography in mind. These old Pentax lenses from the late 1970's and 1980s cost a fraction of modern lenses, and are built like tanks. Best of all, modern Pentax DSLR mounts on my K-70 and K-50 are still compatible. On the other hand the lenses are completely manual. But I don't mind the discipline of having to adjust things myself as long as I can get acceptable results. In all I bought three, of which this is by far the largest and heaviest, a 300mm telephoto, seen here with a 2x magnification teleconverter, which should take it up to 600mm.
