Clyde Angel

Another glorious day of weather. Even went out for a walk at lunchtime to get a sandwich and ate it OUTSIDE while CATCHING SOME RAYS! Amazing.

I took this photo when I arrived at work first thing. Bells Bridge is a rather curious piece of engineering - the beguiling roof strats with no roof to provide any cover, the inbuilt-machinery that allows it to open, turntable-style, to let big boats to pass and, more than anything, that it was there, a presence, through the dark days, post-Garden Festival, when no-one gave a damn about crossing the Clyde at that specific point because there was nowhere to go to on that side of the water. Anyway, I just liked this angle and thought that it looked like a set of wings, an angel about to take flight.
