Little and large

Today started with a physio appointment - (still trying to sort out a shoulder injury from tennis last summer) - which lasted all of 10 minutes (I need specialist treatment) so on the way home I took the opportunity to continue my tests of the Nikon J2 and Panasonic GX1 compact system cameras.

This was taken on the little Nikon - and I shot the same with the D700 as well, but I can't help but be impressed with this tiny little camera and the quality of images it produces.

I liked the last little pockets of snow visible on the slopes of Skiddaw in the background, it didn't feel too cold today, but my guests - and Joe, my assistant - all went to Blea Tarn, which remained frozen all day, even though some of the guests came back with suntanned faces.
