Yosemite firefalls

The whole point of this trip was to catch the fire fall - the phenomenon when the setting sun catches horseshoe falls and makes it glow like lava. We have tried it three nights here, and tonight was the best one. Last chance too, as this is our last night in Yosemite, before moving on to napa valley then San Francisco.

Great day, with superb weather; we took a gentle uphill walk to the lower viewpoint of Verner falls, getting some really great pics en route, which I'll Flickr as soon as I can.
